About

Viandoks

Deep, dark, but playful.

Viandoks is a techno and psytrance artist, based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, since 2022. Born in Guadeloupe, he picked up a guitar at six. In 2010, in New York, he learned DJing and production at Dubspot, and started with drum and bass. The music got deeper and darker from there, but it never stopped being playful.

In the late 2010s he became label manager at GoaProductions, the psytrance label and party crew behind Spirit Tribe Festival in China, and worked deep in the production of Spirit Tribe and of Hadra Trance Festival in France. On the label he released his debut EP, Deep Fried Psy, and compiled Portal To Sirius and New Challengers. His tracks have since appeared on Hadra Records, and his sets have taken him to dance floors around the world.

He has also taught music production in Ableton Live, and helped several producers release their first tracks.

He plays DJ sets on CDJs and live sets of his own productions. He also makes music with Past as Fast'n'Commit, and with songwriter Layeena as the downtempo duo Sahira.
